She was a 'surprise' photographer (my boyfriend arranged to have her present for his proposal!) and Jess was that ideal blend of personable and professional—she's remarkably talented *and also* a true delight to be around. Both my fiance and I aren't all that natural in front of a camera (that's code for awkward), but Jess had a way of capturing us in our element and also setting up poses and moments that made for incredible photographs. She sent us a sneak preview a few days later (did I refresh my email constantly during that time? YES) which was a TREAT and also absolutely blew me away with how she captured our special day. I was telling my fiance the other day that what I was most impressed about Jess is that she has an eye for structure and scenery BUT ALSO an eye for emotion and people.
